This rapid HIA will inform the redevelopment of the Madison Heights, Norton Circle, and HM Watson Homes affordable housing projects located in Avondatle and Buckeye, Arizona. Partners involved in this HIA include Local Initiative Support Corporation (LISC), HIP2, Housing Authority of Maricopa County, and Maricopa County Department of Public Health. Recommendations for the redeveloped housing project focused on the following areas: safe housing, safe and active neighborhoods, access to healthy foods and healthcare services, and thriving and resilient communities.
